Eng. Kimeu Derick is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TerraVisuals, a Kenyan private company operating at the intersection of Information Technology and Geospatial Engineering. He founded the company to solve a problem he encountered repeatedly on the ground: land, infrastructure and property information in Africa is fragmented, opaque, and rarely accessible to the people who need it most — buyers, investors, county governments, developers and educators.

His work combines Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, land administration, and modern software engineering with practical applications of artificial intelligence. Under his leadership, TerraVisuals is developing property valuation engines calibrated for the Kenyan market, geospatial tools for county governments, and enterprise systems for schools, cooperatives and real-estate businesses.
