Drone mapping and aerial survey in Kenya

Capture an entire site in a single flight. We fly high-resolution aerial surveys and turn them into measurable products — orthomosaics, terrain models, contours, 3D models and volume reports you can act on the same week.

What you receive

High-resolution georeferenced orthomosaic of the whole site
Digital surface and terrain models with contours at your chosen interval
3D reconstruction of the site, buildings or structures
Stockpile, excavation and earthwork volume computation
Repeat flights for construction progress and change monitoring
Outputs in GeoTIFF, DWG, LAS and GIS-ready formats

How the work runs

  1. Step 01

    Planning

Flight plan, ground control layout and airspace clearance arranged before mobilisation.

  2. Step 02

    Flight

Licensed pilot, RTK-positioned aircraft and surveyed ground control for verified accuracy.

  3. Step 03

    Processing

Photogrammetric processing into orthomosaic, point cloud and terrain model, with accuracy checked against independent points.

  4. Step 04

    Reporting

Deliverables, an accuracy statement and, where relevant, a volume or change-detection report.

Frequently asked questions

What can drone mapping deliver that ground survey cannot?
Complete visual coverage, fast. In one flight you get a high-resolution orthomosaic, a terrain model, contours and a 3D model of the whole site — including areas that are unsafe or slow to walk, such as quarries, steep slopes and active construction.
How accurate is drone survey?
With ground control points and RTK positioning, centimetre-level horizontal accuracy is achievable. Accuracy targets are agreed up front and verified against independent check points.
Are drone flights legal in Kenya?
Yes, under Kenya Civil Aviation Authority regulations. Operations require registered aircraft, a licensed remote pilot and, in controlled airspace, prior authorisation — all of which we arrange as part of the job.
Can you measure stockpile volumes?
Yes. Volumetric computation from drone surveys is a standard deliverable for quarries, mines and construction sites, and can be repeated monthly to track extraction or fill.
How large an area can you cover?
From a single plot to several thousand hectares. Large sites are flown in blocks over consecutive days and merged into one seamless dataset.
